At the Suncoast Hospice Resale Shop, we love donations. The generosity of our community helps support the mission of Empath Health and its Pinellas County-based member organizations, including Suncoast Hospice.  We accept donations of practically everything from clothes and furniture to home goods, art and collectibles, toys, small appliances and more.

But what makes a great donation?

  • That dress you bought, wore once or twice (or maybe it still has the tag on it) and decided you didn’t really like? We want it! Clothing should be gently worn, clean and ready for the next person to love.
  • Upgrading your television set? Were you gifted a blender you rarely use? We’ll take them off your hands. Electronics that still work and have all or most of their accessories can be a treasure for someone on a budget. It’s even better if you still have the instruction booklet.
  • Decluttering your home? Children’s toys and games, sporting goods and other items from around the house should be clean, in good working order and have all necessary parts/accessories.

Not sure how your items measure up? Bring them by! We have volunteers that test and repair small electronics. We also partner with local agencies to recycle clothing/fabric items and electronics beyond repair to help reduce our environmental impact. No matter what you bring, you can feel good about leaving your gently loved items in our hands.

Drop off gently used items at the back door of any of our three locations 9 am-4:30 pm, Monday-Saturday. We’re also glad to pick up large or heavy items you can’t move on your own but are unable to pick up from floors above the ground level without an elevator. Call (727) 286-4483 and select option 1 to schedule a pick-up. Donation pick up is only available in Pinellas County. We reserve the right of refusal at our stores or on our trucks based on item condition and safety.
